Ecuador - Seems like the country of Ecuador is pulling off a presidential election recount similar to Mexico. With a 65% approval rating, possible elected president Rafael Correa is kind of "Leftist"

Correa is seen as a strong ally of Venezuela President Hugo Chávez, with whom the Bush administration has chilly relations. One of Chávez's first acts when he became president in 1999 was to prohibit U.S. counternarcotics aircraft from patrolling Venezuelan airspace.
